Stella Fedeniuk is a retired Water Resources Engineer from Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. She was
born and raised in Roblin, Manitoba but has made Brandon her home since 1983. She is a second
generation Canadian of Ukrainian descent. Her grandparents immigrated to Canada in the early 1900’s
from what was once known as the Austro-Hungarian Empire and included Ukraine. She is an active
member of her Ukrainian church community and likes to gather information about the history of
Ukrainian settlement in Canada and Manitoba.

Fedeniuk will share a presentation about the Ukrainian experience in Brandon followed by a Q&A.
This speaker series will take place on the last Saturday of every month and is by donation.
