If you are able, we hope you will join us for the Orange Shirt Day Walk starting at 11:45pm from the Riverbank. If you can’t join the walk, tomorrow is a very full day with lots of events to attend:
9:00am-11:00am – Wrap the the Community Through Smudge, Sharing and Songs
11:00am – Dignitaries and Speeches
11:45am – Orange Shirt Day 7km Walk and Mini 1km Walk
3:00pm-5:00pm – Orange Shirt Day Free Lunch by the John Howard Society Transitional Housing Services
4:00pm-6:00pm – Healing by the River – Indigenous Traditions & Celebration at the Fusion Credit Union Stage
6:00pm-7:00pm – Jason Lepine & Band with Metis Jigging Demo at the Fusion Credit Union Stage
There will also be food trucks from 12:00pm-7:00pm and the Indigenous Market from 12:00pm-5:00pm
