Are you passionate about history and the city of Brandon? The Brandon General Museum and Archives is now hiring a Tour Guide for a 9-week basis starting in June to assist the Museum Administrator and BGMA Volunteers.<\/p>\n

The successful candidate should have experience with independent research, scholarly writing, public speaking, and social media posts.<\/p>\n

Some duties and responsibilities may include: greeting patrons and giving tours, assisting with the setup and install of displays and exhibits, detailed research with reliable sources that have been cross-referenced for articles or interpretive texts, cleaning the museum space.<\/p>\n

Knowledge of museum etiquette and artifact conservation is an asset, but not a requirement.<\/p>\n
